Mark I. Sanders is the co-founder of Areté Law LLC. He is an experienced transactional attorney with over 30 years of practice whose primary focus is on business and real estate law. Mr. Sanders’ practice is national in scope, and he has an extensive background in the areas of finance and real estate, such as asset-backed loans and securitization transactions (including capital markets transactions), warehouse lines of credit, accounts receivable sale and hypothecation/loan transactions, real estate and related asset secured loans and other complex credit facility transactions.

In addition, his practice also encompasses general corporate and commercial law, inclusive of business entity formation and governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt transactions, secured transactions, trade practice law, marketing law and litigation counseling related to these practice areas. Mr. Sanders has had experience in a variety of business and finance transactions for both private and public companies, as well as on behalf of individuals.

Mr. Sanders’ clients have included, for example, entrepreneurs, developers, lenders, borrowers, restaurateurs, hotel owners and operators, contractors, distributors and professional service providers. These clients collectively represent numerous industries, such as financial services, hospitality, restaurant, travel, leisure and resort, marketing and promotions, construction, distribution, retail, health care and others.
